Um navio de carga com uma valiosa coleção de obras de arte para o Museu Metropolitano de Arte pias. Poucos meses depois, uma das pinturas ressurge na Hungria.
O Museu envia a arte restaurador Ellen Cruz para autenticar a pintura.
Ela nunca teria imaginado que esta missão levaria toda a sua em toda a Europa, no rastro do retrato do famoso príncipe da Valáquia, Vlad Tepes.
A jovem sofre de uma doença grave.
De Budapeste para Istambul, ela segue a trilha da pintura e mergulha em um conflito entre o primeiro vampiro e “Shadow of the Dragon” uma ordem secreta que sonha em produzir uma nova linhagem de criaturas, livre das garras de Drácula.
